Our country is divided. Washington is broken.

Maryland is proof that there is a better path forward—and the answer is the people-centered, practical leadership of Governor Larry Hogan.

Only months after becoming Governor, Larry Hogan led an unprecedented response to the worst riots in decades. He activated the National Guard to bring peace to Baltimore and then personally walked the streets listening to concerns. On the heels of this, he fought his own personal battle with life-threatening cancer.

For eight years, Larry Hogan governed across party lines. He worked with Democrats in Annapolis to cut taxes each year while fully funding education.

Gov. Hogan kept his promise to Change Maryland for the Better. His focus on jobs and the economy led to Maryland having the greatest economic turnaround of any state in the country – from 49th out of 50 states in economic performance to 6th.

He also funded every major transportation project in every county in the state while also taking steps to make the Chesapeake Bay the cleanest it’s been in a generation.

During the COVID-19 epidemic, Larry Hogan led the state, and the nation’s governors as Chair of the National Governors’ Association, through this public health crisis. His transparent, data-driven approach brought together both the top health experts and the top business and economic experts to craft a response supported by the overwhelming majority of Marylanders.

Coming out of COVID, Governor Hogan got the General Assembly in Annapolis to pass the single largest tax cut in the history of Maryland.

These positive changes happened because Gov. Hogan united people of good will, set aside partisan labels, and got to work. In contrast to Washington’s polarized, toxic politics, Larry Hogan brought Democrats, Republicans, and Independents together to work for Maryland’s benefit.

Now, more than ever, we need Larry Hogan’s style of people-centered leadership in Washington D.C. The partisan battle-lines in Washington are so entrenched, it will take determined leadership to bridge the divisions, build trust, and rally people to demand constructive results from Washington.

Larry Hogan did that for eight years as governor—and he has what it takes to do it again in the U.S. Senate. He stood up to his own party leaders before—and he has the independence to stand up to the party bosses in Washington. As governor, he worked to get results for all Marylanders. We can count on him to do it again.

It’s time to send a proven independent leader to the U.S. Senate. That’s Larry Hogan.

Washington is a mess.

Maryland has the answer.

Larry Hogan—a leader for all of us.
